Description: American made birdseye maple faux bamboo Victorian bed. It has large balls at the top of each of the corner posts. The top of the headboard features a number of faux bamboo turnings and recessed panels. The headboard and footboard have raised and inset panels all surrounded by quarter round faux bamboo moldings. This same molding was used to decorate the siderails. The siderails were previously professionally extended to queen size 80+ inches. The bed is 56.5" wide on the inside so a near queen size custom box spring and mattress could be used. There are some scratches to the finish of the headboard and the rail returns have a slight bend but the bed does bolt together tightly. A lovely design with nice birdseye grain to the wood!
