Description: Stylish solid quartered oak bookcase. It has a label on the
back "C.H. Avery, 59 to 73 Factory St, Nashua, N.H." (see photo). This
could be the maker or simply the original retailer. It has a beautiful
ornate top that features a oval beveled mirror surrounded by delicate
applied carvings and a shelf on either side within intricate spindled
gallery. There are four original adjustable shelves. Notice the lovely
vibrant birdseye maple interior! The two bottom drawers have an exaggerated
curve, applied carvings, and original cast brass hardware. There is minor
staining on the very top surface. A real sweet bookcase!
