Description: Large Victorian walnut three door bookcase. The top steps
down in the middle and has a deeply carved edge on all three sides. This
piece features four intricately carved lion heads along the top. On the two sides between the lions heads are delicate vertical carvings in a series of recessed domes. Below each of the lion heads is a
large carving resting on a spiral turned column. Each section has three
original adjustable shelves. The original locks are missing but we have a
key to help open the doors and we put a metal plate to cover the space where
each of the locks was (see photo). There are raised panels on the sides.
This bookcase comes totally apart for easy moving. A great quality bookcase
with superior carvings!
