Description: Gorgeous French style curio cabinet by a company in Albany, NY
(see photo of partial label in back). It has a very fancy open brass work
in the top crest with a bombe shaped painted scene of cupids underneath.
Ornate brass trim, including a floral open work design on each of the top
sides, frames the serpentine shaped original glass doors, the top sides,
legs, feet and painted panels. It is all intact. The interior has two
glass shelves, mirror back and velvet on the wooden parts. The bombe shaped
three parts on the bottom have painted scenes of a man and woman drinking
wine in the middle, a castle on the right and a pond-forest on the left.
The two side panels have a normal split in the middle where the underneath
wood has sligltly shrunk. A stunning cabinet!
