Description: Very Elegant Late Victorian Large Mahogany China Cabinet with the original pierced carved and scrolled backsplash. The front glass door is gently bowed and decorated all around the perimeter with more fine scrollwork. It has corresponding detail on the bowed side glasses with unusual curved wooden panels at each base. The feet are well shaped with more elaborate carvings. Notice the thick paneled back and quality of construction of the original shelves. The stenciled numbers on the back suggest this may have been made be Paine Furniture Co, Boston.
