Description: Fabulous Victorian country store bolt cabinet. The octagonal
top spins on a large metal pole that sticks up from the base. There are a
total of eighty pie shaped drawers in this revolving section. Each of the
drawers has an original porcelain pull and decoration. Inside the
decoration are numbers indicating the gauge found in each drawer along with
the either the word "tire" or "car'e." The base has twelve rectangular
drawers on opposite sides (both sides shown in photos). Four of the knobs
on the base have been replaced with slightly larger ones. Also, the bottom
right drawer on one side has a chip out of it. There are a number of chips
and scrapes in this cabinet. We have made no attempt at restoration. It is
a very unique and utilitarian piece with every drawer in good working
condition. The top revolves easily. We have had only one other bolt
cabinet similar to this since we have been in business. However, the other one we
sold did not have the twenty four drawer base. A great piece!
