Description: Lovely petite Aesthetic walnut Victorian writing desk. It has a fancy spindled gallery on top with a slanted lift top lid with the original fabric (some stains and wear but we only will replace it at the buyers request). The interior of the desk is exceptional with four drawers with light satinwood fronts with darker inlays. There are incised carvings at the top of the turned legs. An original key is in the lock which no longer works. The base has curved spindled stretchers. This piece has surprising quality and design for it's size. It has style elements associated with Allen & Brothers, Philadelphia but we can't make a definite attribution.
