Description: Wonderful cast iron garden settee signed "John McLean, N.Y."
(see photo of back). This VERY heavy Victorian bench has a most ornate
pattern featuring grape clusters and leaves. The pattern extends to each of
the legs as well. This identical piece is shown on page 172 of "Antique
Garden Ornament" by Barbara Israel. There is one small chip in the metal on
the top. It is a handsome and very solid functional piece!

Finish: Old (possibly original) paint with minor rusting on seat and tops of
arms
