Description: Impressive Victorian statue of a conquistador holding a
kerosene lamp with beautiful floral painted glass bulb shade. The metal
statue sits on a round wooden base. There have been several professional
repairs to the statue but it is structurally sound and the repairs are well
concealed. There is a groove in the back where a knife or sword would have
be sheathed. The font is signed "The Rochester." This is a very impressive
and decorative lamp - we have never seen anything quite like it! Circa: 1880 Dimensions: 85"H (to top of globe) x 22"Diameter of base Finish: Good original patina - some professional repairs to the metal Price: $5950.00 |
