Description: Magnificent Renaissance Revival rosewood Victorian credenza.
The arched top frames a semi circular convex panel with gorgeous marquetry
with birds. The front, including the three cabinet doors, feature floral
and musical instrument inlay. The case is also decorated with extensive
fancy brass trim, original gilt incised carvings, and exotic lighter wood
inlaid panels. The original locks were taken out. We had the original space
that they took up filled with wooden inserts that can easily be removed
should the owner wish to install new locks. We had three exceptional period
brass pulls which we attached to help open the doors. The interior of the
cabinet and shelves are made of lovely birdseye maple and satinwood (see
photo) The back of the cabinet is all original. This cabinet is a
showpiece! Circa: 1870 Dimensions: 57"H x 74"W x 18.5"D Finish: Good polished original finish Price: $19,500.00 ON SALE: $13,500! Clearance: $9950! E-Mail: antiques@souhantq.com Ordering and Shipping Return to Sideboards, Servers, and Credenzas Return to Catalogue Index Page Return to Home Page |
