Description: Pretty Painted Gold Vitrine with an unusual serpentine glass top lid that lifts up. The gold paint is the old faded original and has been touched up in places over the years. All the fancy brass ormolu trim is intact around the perimeters and on the feet. We custom upholstered the interior shelf with an emerald damask. Notice the stenciled numbers underneath (see photo) which makes this piece likely made by Paine Furniture or Horner. This piece shows its age but is still fine quality and a very useful, pretty accessory. There are tiny bubbles in the old glass and there is a working key for the lid.
