Description: Pretty Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian armchair with a
delicately carved bird on nest in crest. The frame is decorated with burled
panels and carvings. The arms end in carved eagle heads. There is a
carving in the center of the skirt. The two front legs are carved and
fluted. The castors on the feet have been replaced with round metal pads.
This chair was recently reupholstered. The fabric is generally in good
shape with just a few very minor stains. The intricately carved crest and
arms make this chair very special!
