Description: Interesting pair of walnut Victorian armchairs. They have
a fancy turned finial at the top of each side and a Japanese influenced open
carving at the top. One chair has a tufted fabric in the middle of the
carvings while the other one is wood. The arms feature an intricately
carved bird with open beak and wings on the sides. The base has a classic
Renaissance Revival design with carved buttons, carvings and burled panels.
Both chairs are in good original finish however one is slightly lighter in
color than the other. Both have old but useable fabric. A most unusual
pair of Victorian chairs!
Circa: 1875
Dimensions: 17.5"H x 25"W
Finish: Good original finish with rich patina. One chair is slightly lighter
than the other - it was probably kept in a room with more light.
Price: $3650.00 the pair
